- We’ve been having an issue at work with our data wrangling boxes and some older USB3 drives, specifically on Debian. It turns out the UAS module breaks some drives from mounting and they never get assigned a device ID correctly. If you plug the USB3 drive in to a USB2 port though it will mount fine but then ou lose all that lovely speed!
- Then unplug your existing drives (so you don't risk overwriting anything) then do a clean install of OMV to the SSD. Then power off, plug in your old drives and reboot. If you have any issues booting, make sure that you're booting from the SSD (might require adjustments in BIOS). Then mount/re-add your data drives and configure the other bits.

SMB 1.0/CIF was unchecked. Checking it required a reboot, and now network drive is visible, and map-able. Thanks for the tip - didnt find this anywhere else online!
